Horton International Holds Global Partners' Meeting in Singapore
May 2 2008 - West Hartford, CT - Horton International held its annual Global Partners' meeting in Singapore on April 25-26, 2008 with 40 representatives from 21 countries in attendance.
Robin Billen (Australia), Horton International Chairman, led the meeting. Regional Directors from Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific all reported double digit revenue growth in their respective regions.

New Chairman for Horton International UK Advisory Board
May 1 2008 - London, UK - Horton International is delighted to announce that following the retirement of Alan Tipper as Chairman of the UK Board of Horton International, UK David Longbottom has accepted the invitation to take up the position of Chairman. Alan Tipper will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Prior to joining the UK Advisory Board of Horton International, David was Group Director of Human Resources for the Dixons Group plc, (DSGi) a main Board position to which he was appointed in 2002. Prior to that, he held a number of other positions within Dixons, including Sales Director and Deputy Managing Director of Currys. David brings a wealth of commercial HR experience from his earlier roles with Lloyds of London, Courtaulds plc and British Gas.
David is Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of London South Bank University. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Flybe, where he is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. He is an Associate Member of the Royal College of Science, and a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel & Development.

Michael Zhang Promoted to Partner in China

Michael graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1991, and completed an Advanced Hotel Management degree from "Les Roches" in Switzerland, a Hotel Management School under the Swiss Hotel Association, in 1995. Prior to joining Horton International China, Michael had worked with Raychem's China Operations and China's Jinjiang Hotel Management Group, where he gained a substantial knowledge of China's manufacturing and services sectors, well prepared himself for his career with Horton International.

Horton International Moves to New Offices in London, UK
April 3, 2008 - London, UK - Horton International today announced that due to an expansion of the UK office consultancy team, it has relocated to larger offices. Horton International Opens New Office in Guadalajara, Mexico
March 26, 2008 - West Hartford, CT - Horton International today announced that the firm has opened a new office in Guadalajara, Mexico; the second in that country.
The opening of the office in Guadalajara is designed to cover the needs of Jalisco and the Baj?o Area, and confirms the success the company has had in Mexico, where it is continuously moving forward in this growing market niche.

Patrick T. Murphy Joins Horton International
November 5, 2007 - West Hartford, CT - Horton International, LLC today announced that Patrick T. Murphy has joined as Managing Director in the firm's US headquarters in West Hartford, CT. Murphy will be focusing on the recruitment of executive positions for financial services and consumer-driven industries in which he has spent a 31-year career directing corporate human resources.
Most recently, Murphy held the position of Executive Vice President at Webster Financial Corporation, a leading New England bank with over $17 billion in assets. Horton International's Global Partners Meet in San Francisco
West Hartford, CT - Horton International, LLC held its annual Global Partner's meeting in San Francisco on April 27-28, 2007 with 55 representatives from 20 countries in attendance.
Robin Billen, Horton International Australia, Global Chairman led the meeting. Reports on regional operations were presented by Regional Directors, John Slater-Europe, Bob Lo-Asia Pacific and Bob Gilchrist-Americas. All reported significant growth in revenues and consultants during the past year.
The Chairman welcomed Alvaro Camarena, a new partner who is opening an office in Guadalajara, Mexico, and David Kim, who is interested in opening an office in Seoul, Korea.
A highlight of the conference was discussion on the continuing development and growth of global industry practice groups. Established practice groups are in the Automotive, Financial Services, Life Sciences, and Media and Printing industries. ICT (Information, Communications and Technology) and, Fashion and Retail are recently formed groups. Presentations were also made by task forces formed to address the areas of communications and quality.

A New Season for Horton International
Horton International revealed a newly elected Board at its annual global partnership meeting held in Paris in April. The election of the Board marked the formal commencement of a new global structure for the group following a substantial period of review and planning.
China, Denmark, Finland and Sweden were welcomed as new shareholding partners of the group company, joining the seven founding shareholders - US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia. November 7, 2005 - West Hartford, CT - Horton International, LLC announced today that the firm has opened an office in New York City and that Terry McCarthy has joined as a Managing Director.
Prior to joining Horton International, Terry served as a Managing Director with Cromwell Partners, a retained search firm. Earlier in his career he was a Senior Managing Director at DHR International, where he was responsible for developing and managing the global financial services practice. Terry also served as a Managing Partner (US) with PA International Management Consultants and Sullivan & Co. (now a part of Heidrick & Struggles), focusing on global investment banks and industrial, telecom and media conglomerates. He has been extensively involved in strategic searches for various global investment banks, media and entertainment firms and industrial conglomerates.
Terry began his business career at the Industrial Chemicals group of W.R. Grace. He later joined the Philip Morris Corporation in its International Product Marketing division. Horton International Opens Mexico City Office
March 23, 2004, Mexico City. One of the top global retained executive firms, Horton International, has opened its third Latin American office with the launch of a Mexico City office. Horton International entered Latin America 8 years earlier when it opened an office in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The new office is headed by Guillermo Cepeda, who was recently appointed Managing Partner and Country Manager. Mr. Cepeda will oversee searches throughout Mexico.
